Core values

Character.  Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines character as, “One of the attributes or features that make up and distinguish an individual; Moral excellence or firmness.”  It doesn’t matter if you’re supremely intelligent or extraordinarily talented, if you’re not built on a solid foundation of character, you’ll eventually fail, whether you’re an individual, team, or organization.

Integrity.  Similar to character, are you true to yourself, your principles, and values?  I believe if you’re not living life with integrity, you’re wasting precious time and energy.

Purpose.  Everything that’s ever been created has a purpose and organizations are no different.  All my actions on an engagement will be aligned with and serve the purpose of the project.

Truth.  Although every individual’s perspective is different, by cross-referencing the perspectives of enough people, I believe you get closer to the ultimate truth.  This is one of my key objectives on every consulting engagement – to discover as close to the ultimate truth as humanly possible and deliver this insight and value to you, my client.

Service.  Service to others is what makes the world go around and allows humanity to collectively rise to new heights.  E.S.Kim Enterprise Consulting’s mission is based on customer service.

Servant leadership.  Servant-leaders achieve results for their organizations by giving priority attention to the needs of their colleagues and those they serve.  They are humble stewards of their organization’s resources – human, financial, physical.  Servant leadership requires a spiritual understanding of identity, mission, vision, and environment and can be applied in all directions – upward, downward, and laterally – in a hierarchical organization.
